Pair of Plia chairs by Italian designer Giancarlo Piretti (1940) for Castelli. The applegreen colour on the edges give them a playful and bright look. They have traces of usage due to the age. These are ideal if you're a card player and need spare chairs but have not much place to store them. They take very little space if you fold them, 5cm depth. Imagine them in a kitchen around a white or wooden table. The transparency makes they're not like a standard chair, they just look lighter I think. I grew up with these chairs that's why I have a little "coup de foudre" each time a come accross one of these. I had not seen these with a green frame before but I remember I missed a set one year ago, it was green all over, and that was all I could think about.
