Large number of Lilly candlesticks by Swedish sculptor Ivar Alenius Bjork (1905-1978) by Ystad Metall. The model is called Lilly because it has the shape of the Lilly flower. These brass candlesticks were designed in 1939. Originally they had in their centre a small transparent vase to be used as soliflower. Unfortunately by the years these vases are rarely found and people started using them as candlesticks. They are extremely chic on a table as decoration, be it in-or outdoor. Highly searched for by every midcenturymodern lover. I have lots of them all over my place and use them almost every day, it's a real pleasure having these around even when not used with a candle. The object itself is enough, although at night when candles are on, the magic appears ;-) All of them have the logo engraved on the back as seen on the last picture. These are vintage. They are re-edited today but not with the same logo.
