Beautiful Swan chair designed in 1958 by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. This one has an old frame (from 1966 as can be seen on the sticker) on a four-star swivel base with recent leather. The leather is cognac and presents like a darker line, almost like a sunray. It's not without charm I must say. I love things which are imperfect. I'm not the "perfect pic, perfect sun, perfect beach" kind. I like the imperfect touch, this "something different" but which makes it more interesting and loveable. If you are looking for somehting smooth, with no imperfections, than you should go for new. This chair has recent leather but with already some small stains and very light traces of usage. It's rotating which adds to it's comfort while reading or sipping a glass of wine. It's the kind of lounge chair that embellishes with the years. At the first stain on the leather you start crying, and at stain number 3 you start liking it and accept that leather needs patina, history, life : c'est la vie!
