Great set of 8 wooden dining chairs (fifties) by Danish designer Poul Volther (1923-2001). The set is in very good condition, the wood has a great patina. Very nice in a kitchen or in a dining room. These chairs could match a modern table but also a nice long rectangular wooden one. Some time ago now I started to look more intensely at chairs with spines in the back. There are so many models that exist. I don't like all of them but lots are so charming. I you look at the market of new chairs you can see that many brands have started to re-edit the "chairs with spines".
