Great set of 6 Baumann dining chairs. I have loved this model for more than 15 years. It was this chair that made me "fall" into my job today. I bought these for my dining room and I was so extremely happy because I had found something different. I remember my husband telling me "you always find the most splendid items for our house", oh he made more than my day (and still does by the way but let's get back to our chairs). They're often seen in French bistrots en restaurants. Whenever I stumble across a restaurant where they have them, I want to eat there because when they have these chairs they usually also have a whole atmosphere that I always keep looking for. These have all a different patina and scratches and traces of life and discussions and laughs and confidences. As we say in French : "elles sont dans leur jus" meaning they're juicy!! More seriously : they have lived for years and you can see it. But all the more charming!
