Set of 6 Cesca chairs by Marcel Breuer's design. These were first produced in the twenties. The Cesca chair has been manufactured over the years by Thonet, Gavina, Cidue and Knoll. All these ones have a Cidue sticker. The lady I bought these from has known them at home since the seventies. All the seatings have been remade, the cane of the backs were in perfect condition so they have been left as such. Traces of usage on the black painting, nothing to panic about ;-) The cantilever frame makes these extremely comfortable, you can swivel lightly, I love that soft balancing! These chairs are very much sought for now. They fit a modern interior, a glass table or a white one,put them in a dining room or around kitchen table, whatever. I don't know how in how many movies you can see these, they have become iconic.
