Beautiful set of 4 off-white Lloyd Loom garden chairs by Vincent Sheppard. I don't know what I have with these chairs, or yes I do, I mean, I litterally grew up with these. We used to have them in the garden but also in rooms and in halls. I knew them in all kinds of colours but these off-white ones catched my eye. You know, they make me think of my grandmother and her sister who used to come over at our place at the seaside where they sat in front of the window with a view on the sea but also on all the people coming and going to the beach. They enjoyed commenting everything, it still makes me smile. This is one of these childhood things that one remembers for allways...I can still hear their voices.
Anyway let's talk about these charming ones. In some weeks I will have cushions made because they really need some. Their feet have nice details, and despite their age (probably 20 years old) they are still in mint condition. These are a classic, so English, so extremely charming.
