Joyful pair of DSW chairs for Herman Miller. These chairs were designed in 1950 by USA designer Charles Eames. The fiberglass shells are in original state and in perfect condition. The dowel base in wood is recent as are the shockmounts underneath the seating. Both chairs have an engraved Herman Miller logo which means they were produced in the US and not in Europe (if in Europe the production would have been Vitra or Fehlbaum). These are very well known and have become a classic around dining and kitchen tables, they're also used in front of desks. The 2 colours are very bright and give a happy look. They have different wooden feet one is oak, I'm not sure about the other one. The one with dark base has some scratches as shown on last pic. The seating height is 44cm.
