lounge chairs by Tage Poulsen

Pair of lounge chairs by Danish designer and artist Tage Poulsen (1939). These chairs are large and sturdy and so comfortable! The frame is made of pine and the seating has this typically Scandinavian papercord. The chairs have been designed in 1972. I see in these the beautiful brutalist shaker-style. They look so simple and authentic, I absolutely LOVE this style of furniture. They is light wear on the wooden frame, nothing serious. The papercord is in very nice condition. If you're looking for something different but with the Scandinavian touch, I think these ones are perfect!
