Large number of Lily candlesticks by Swedish sculptor Ivar Alenius Bjork (1905-1978) by Ystad Metall. The model is called Lilly because it has the shape of the Lilly flower. These brass candlesticks were designed in 1939 and are normally used as vases. They should arrive with a small transparent vase to be used as soliflower. Unfortunately by the years these vases are rarely found and people started using them as candlesticks. They are extremely chic on a table as decoration, be it in-or outdoor. Highly searched for by evey midcenturymodern lover. I have lots of them all over my place and use them almost every day, it's a real pleasure having these around even when not used with a candle. The object itself is enough, although at night when candles are on, the magic appears ;-) All of them have the logo engraved on the back as seen on the last picture. These are vintage. They are re-edited today but not with the same logo.
